Ninja Fitness 3rd-5th / 9AM to 9:55AM

Description: Students will learn fundamental movements for the entire body, as they incorporate mixed martial arts and gymnastic techniques to strengthen the body, mind, and soul. Focus points range from all aspects of fitness including strength, endurance, agility, and flexibility. Skills & Drills will be taught to help you become the ninja you were meant to be! Each week will have new challenging, but fun, lessons to learn and grow from. Let us help your lil’ ninja build confidence, self esteem, social skills and learn to love fitness!

Please make sure your student wears tennis shoes (closed toe).

Coding (Scratch) K-2nd / 9AM to 9:55AM

Class Information:  This class is designed to introduce and teach young students the basics of coding. Help boost problem solving and critical thinking skills while having fun. Students will start learning coding using the program Scratch. As students create programs in Scratch they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and have fun.  The Scratch programming environment use a graphical interface of interlocking blocks to make coding easier for brand new programmers. Coding teaches students important computer science concepts such as conditionals, loops, variables, functions, user interfaces, and more, while teaching kids to build exciting projects. Software is the language of our time, and teaching students how to use it correctly will certainly come in handy. Scratch is an excellent starting points to introduce coding to kids while also teaching about the process of design.

Jr. Video Game Creators & Minecraft K-2nd / 11AM to 11:55AM

Class Information:  The 1st 8 weeks of class we build a video game; in the 2nd 8 weeks we explore the world of Minecraft.

JKW Innovations has partnered with ClickTeam.com to teach students how to make their very own video game!  Learn the history of video gaming, along with copyright and intellectual property laws within the gaming industry. Develop software skills that let you create and animate characters for your video games. By the end of class, students can share their completed projects with each other and get to take them home to share with family and friends!

In Minecraft, younger students will learn how to use a mouse and keyboard to navigate through the world of Minecraft. We will have weekly objectives where you will have to explore the educational aspects of Minecraft. Teamwork and collaboration will be needed to accomplish these challenges. Students will learn the building blocks to video game creation in this fun for all class, designed for youngsters in mind.

Survival Skills Engineering 3rd-5th / 11AM to 11:55AM

Description: This class applies practical engineering to “real life” scenarios. What happens in the event of an unforeseen incident-- could you survive? This program will teach you how to learn and apply practical engineering in survival scenarios. Some activities include building a working flashlight in case of a power outage, inventing ways to signal attention such as smoke bombs, and creating a compass to help find your way home if lost. This class is project-based and teaches you how to stay safe while using everyday household material. We emphasize the fun in learning practical engineering tips for real life survival and those what-if scenarios!

Digital Art using Wacom Tablets 6th-10th / 12PM to 12:55PM

Class Information:  Art is fun!  This class focuses on using Wacom Tablets to teach Art!  Students will be learning how to draw or paint using a tablet.  Are you looking for painting tips and drawing techniques that will help you along your artistic journey? Or perhaps you'd like to deepen your understanding of and appreciation for art.  This class teaches the basic elements of art and uses technology to help.  This course will be an exciting hands-on learning experience.

Electrical Engineering 6th-10th / 1PM to 1:55PM

Class Information:  This is a combination class that covers key topics from both of our Electronic Engineering & Electronic Engineering Tech classes.  The class is a “hands-on” class designed for students that are in grades 6-10th.  The class is designed to introduce and teach students about electricity and electronics!  We will be doing experiments, builds, and challenges during the first portion of this course.  Students will be able to keep some of the builds to take home to share with friends and family.  During the second portion we will be focusing on Electronic Engineering Technology, the study of electronic circuits.  Students will be working with Arduino- Microcontroller Motherboards - An Arduino is a micro-controller motherboard or a simple computer that can run one program at a time, over and over again.

Description: Introduction to the software of Unity and Unreal Engine.  The majority of PC and console games are made with these two programs. Students will learn to create their own first-person shooters, platformers, and racing games. There will be additional opportunities to explore their own unique ideas by creating outlines and project storyboards. Fortnite was made with Unreal Engine and Assassin’s Creed was made with Unity.

This is a 1 year class split & paid in 2 semesters.

The first Semester students will be focusing on Unity.

Welcome to Physics Science with Lab, a hands-on experiments approach to teaching physics to middle school students.  This course is designed to provide students a basic understanding of physics principles in the areas of force and motion, work and energy, thermodynamics, light and sound, electricity and magnetism, engineering and robotics, and modern physics.  The course material we will be using is called, “Physics for the Logic Stage”.

Lego Engineering Build Class Tk-2nd / 2PM to 2:55PM

Description:  This class teaches the engineering design process using Legos! During this hands-on class, students will build many various machines ranging from practical to silly using the engineering design process to achieve weekly challenges. Students will have weekly discussions and team challenges to accomplish during the course. Students will have hundreds of legos to build with to complete their goals.  Become a Lego Master through practice and fun learning!

Description:  Come learn about the elements in an engaging and fun manner with Mr. Jeremy Wilson. Students learn about the science of chemical elements. The basic forms of matter made from a single type of atom. Students will learn all about the Periodic Table and tons of interesting facts! Description: This course focuses on the Engineering Design Process on all of the creative builds. Students will be focusing on applying all 6 steps of the Design Process: 1. Ask, 2. Brainstorm, 3. Design, 4. Build, 5. Test, and 6. Improve. We will have a weekly challenge and apply the design process to complete the Creative Design Builds. Students will be challenged with documenting their design process for awareness and self improvement. Lessons and builds will include: Towers, Bridges, Domes, Dams, Planes, Boats, Cars, Rockets, and many others.

Grossology Science TK-2nd / 12PM to 12:55PM

Description: Grossology: The Science of the Disgusting. Kids learn how and why the body does those yucky things it does - like pooping, farting, belching, and making snot.  If you said to your students, "Raise your hand if you want to learn about the excretory system" how many students would respond? However, if you said, "Raise your hand if you want to learn about pee, poo, and sweat" many enthusiastic hands would go up.  That is the teaching approach used by Grossology.  This course will be an exciting hands-on learning experience.

This is a 16 week- one semester course meant to be taken in 2 semesters.

The first Semester we will be working in Grossology on sticky, goopy, gross things like pus, blood, snot and boogers, athlete's foot, etc…

The second Semester we will be looking at squishy, mucky, gross things like brains, eyeballs, guts, constipation, bruises, etc…

3D Animation w/ Blender & 3D Printing & CAD Software 6th-12th / 1PM to 1:55PM 

Description:  Are you interested in a career in technology? Are you curious about working in fields like virtual reality, video game design, marketing, television and motion pictures, or digital imaging? If so, this course in 3D Modeling is a great place to start as it is the foundation for all these career paths. Gain a deeper understanding of graphic design and illustration as you use 3D animation software to create virtual three-dimensional design projects. The first semester we focus on learning and using specifically the software Blender to start exploring the world of 3D modeling. The second semester of class provides students with an introduction to both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional modeling using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and 3D Printing software. Students will work on multiple computer-based project challenges. This class will reinforce the importance of applying attention to detail on their designs and teach them how to bring their exported files to life using a 3D printer. Each student's final project will be 3D printed for them to share with friends and family, demonstrating what they have learned. THIS IS A FULL YEAR CLASS SPLIT INTO 2 SEMESTERS.  EACH SEMESTER REQUIRES A PAYMENT.

The first Semester students will be focusing on learning and using Blender.

The second Semester students will be using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and 3D printing software.

Description:  This Graphic Design course uses Affinity Software and will teach students about the visual art of design and design elements.  Affinity Suits uses photo editing, image creation, it allows designers to create vector graphics, and text to make beautiful layouts ready for publication.  Students will learn the elements of art, transformations, photo manipulations, vectoring, layering, typography, layout, and much, much more. Description: This class applies practical engineering to “real life” scenarios. What happens in the event of an unforeseen incident-- could you survive? This program will teach you how to learn and apply practical engineering in survival scenarios. Some activities include building a working flashlight in case of a power outage, inventing ways to signal attention such as smoke bombs, and creating a compass to help find your way home if lost. This class is project-based and teaches you how to stay safe while using everyday household material. We emphasize the fun in learning practical engineering tips for real life survival and those what-if scenarios!

Electronic Engineering Technology 7th-12th / 3PM to 3:55PM

Description: Electronic Engineering Technology is the study of electronic circuits.
