Description: Are you interested in a career in technology? Are you curious about careers in virtual reality, video game design, marketing, TV and film, or digital imaging? If so, this course in 3D Modeling is a great place to start as it is the foundation for all these career paths. Gain a deeper understanding of graphic design and illustration as you use 3D animation software to create virtual three-dimensional design projects.
In the first semester, students will be introduced to 2D and 3D modeling using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and 3D printing software. They will work on various projects, learning attention to detail and how to bring designs to life with a 3D printer. Each student's final project will be 3D printed to showcase their skills.
